Financial translation services
Keeping banking and financial content accurate under scrutiny
In banking and finance, a translation error can misstate a risk, change an obligation or undermine customer trust. For 20+ years, we’ve translated specialized content for banks and financial institutions, with clients including Alpha Bank, Eurobank and the European Central Bank. Our ISO 17100-certified process combines financial-sector linguists, rigorous quality assurance and strict confidentiality.

Why financial content is different
Regulation leaves little room for interpretation
Financial information must be clear, accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements. MiFID II governs information provided to clients, while the PRIIPs Regulation sets standardized KIDs for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products. Prospectuses and disclosures may also need to meet national rules in each market.
An inaccurate translation can make disclosures misleading, create inconsistencies or delay regulatory review.
Financial terminology carries exact meaning
Terms such as maturity, redemption, collateral or yield are not interchangeable. Neither are the terms that define rights, obligations, fees and risks in agreements and disclosures.
We work with specialist financial linguists and use terminology management for financial content to keep critical terms accurate and consistent across documents, products and languages.
Confidential content requires controlled handling
Financial translation can involve market-sensitive information, internal risk documentation and customer-related data.
That’s why we have strict NDAs in place with every linguist and associate we work with. Confidentiality is built into our workflow from the moment we receive your files through to final delivery.
Banking and finance content we translate
A workflow built for financial content
Financial translation starts with people who understand the terminology and the context behind it. We assign sector-specific linguists, supported by experienced project managers and quality assurance processes.
Our workflow is CAT-agnostic, so we can work with your existing tools, formats and translation assets. We also use Translate5 and, where appropriate to the content and level of risk, AI-supported translation followed by expert human verification.
Our financial translation services can also incorporate dedicated terminology resources to maintain consistent financial terminology across recurring documentation, products and communication channels.
For regulated content that crosses into legal and institutional language, we apply the same precision we bring to our Legal and EU work.
Certified quality, complete confidentiality
Rest assured that quality, accuracy and confidentiality are always at the core of what we do. For banking and financial projects, we apply security-first handling alongside terminology QA to keep sensitive content and critical financial terms under control.
ISO 17100 certified
We’ve been certified since 2021, which means our translation processes, linguist qualifications and quality assurance workflows meet strict international standards.
Professional indemnity coverage
Being one of the few language service providers (LSPs) to provide indemnity cover, we give you an added layer of security.
NDAs
Every linguist and associate we work with signs a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA), ensuring your content stays confidential at every stage of the process.

Have you got questions?
Find the answers you need about banking and finance content.
How much does financial translation cost?
The cost of financial translation depends on word count, content type, language combinations, regulatory scope, file format, quality assurance requirements and deadline.
We assess these factors before quoting so the cost reflects the actual complexity and requirements of the project.
How long does it take to translate large financial reports?
Turnaround depends on the length of the report, number of target languages, complexity of the content, file format and required quality assurance.
Large annual reports, prospectuses and other high-volume financial documents are usually planned as managed projects rather than translated in one continuous step. We assess the files, agree on the terminology and workflow, and set a delivery schedule that allows translation, revision and final checks to be completed properly.
Do you handle regulated fund and disclosure documentation?
Yes. We translate regulated financial documentation including KIIDs, PRIIPs KIDs, prospectuses, customer terms and conditions, and related disclosure materials.
We maintain established terminology and consistency across language versions, with the workflow adapted to the requirements of each project.
How do you keep financial information confidential?
We build confidentiality into every stage of the translation workflow. Every linguist and associate we work with signs a strict NDA, and access to sensitive financial content is limited to the people involved in the project, pursuant to GDPR.
This is especially important for market-sensitive information, internal reports and customer-related data. We adapt the workflow to the confidentiality requirements of the material from receipt through to final delivery.
Can you keep terminology consistent across all our documents?
Yes. We can build and maintain dedicated termbases for your organization and integrate them into the translation workflow.
This helps keep product names, financial terms, legal terminology and preferred wording consistent across documents, channels and languages. For larger projects, dedicated terminology management can provide additional control across languages and product lines.
Can AI be trusted with financial documents?
AI can support financial translation, but it should not be relied on alone for content where accuracy, regulatory terminology or confidentiality are critical.
Figures, financial terms and disclosures need careful verification, while market-sensitive or customer-related information requires controlled handling. Where appropriate, we use AI-supported translation as part of the workflow, followed by review by specialist financial linguists to verify meaning, terminology and consistency.
